In CanWest’s Health and Safety Program, every person is responsible and accountable for safety – from senior management to the individual worker.

 

CanWest’s Health & Safety Program provides:

Corporate Policies, assigned responsibilities, & workplace rules

Environmental policies, hazard assessments, and controls

On-going site orientations, training, and controls

Job-specific safe work practices & procedures

Equipment operation and maintenance practices & procedures

Safety requirements and systems that focus on management, employee, awareness to reduce risk of workplace incidents. 

 

 

CanWest also employs a health and safety professional to work closely with our managers and workers. Also, we use a combination of an extensive inhouse online learning software system and in-the-field training to ensure our team gets the best training possible.
