Delivery and Pick-up Options Available

$120 each way for pick-up or delivery within the city limits.

A few exceptions do apply; the Kubota kO80m at $150/hour. The Kamatsu and Doosan Excavators are $180/hour.

Friday pick-up is limited by availability and scheduling. Delivery is curb to curb and does not include installation, set up or knock down.

Rental Period Charges

Rental pricing is based on an 8 hour use in 24 hours, or a 56 hour use in a 7 day week. Our equipment rentals are available at daily, weekly and monthly rates.

Fuel Surcharge

1.5x the current market rate.

Repair Charges

Accidents happen. Please call and ask one of our sales team for a copy of our damage waiver. Repair surcharge is a flat rate of $175.00/hr + 10% for shop supplies. Additional costs for parts and consumables will apply unless otherwise stated on our damage waiver.

Cleaning Fee

We expect rentals to be returned in the same state they went out in. We do clean and maintenance each rental after use but we will charge $150/hour for cleaning excessively dirty equipment. Examples could include saws covered in concrete slurry/dust or dump trailers being left with material inside (Dumping fees will be charged if large quantity is left remaining). Save money and make your job easier by cleaning the equipment as you go.

Additional Charges

Additional charges incurred during the rental will be billed to the renter’s credit card on file. Examples include, but are not limited to, traffic or bylaw violations, rental extensions, damage or replacement parts, and fuel.

Weekend Specials

Weekend Special rentals are billed at 1.5× the daily rate of the equipment. Customers may pick up the equipment Friday between 3:00–5:00 p.m. and return it Monday by 9:00 a.m. to receive the Weekend Special rate, unless otherwise arranged in advance. Late returns are subject to additional rental/extension charges.

Maintenance

Renters are expected to preform standard maintenance on the equipment rented according to the type of machine and required ongoing maintenance. Examples include but aren’t limited to greasing machines after use and using chisel paste in breakers.

Early Returns

All returns will be pro-rated. For example, if you have a weekly rental and you then return the item on the second day of your one week rental, for the two days you will only be charged the day rate. All other amounts will be refunded. Some equipment maybe subject to a restocking fee. Please call for more information.

Knowledge & Operation

All rental customers are expected to have the knowledge and be able to follow the equipment manufactures’ operating procedures safely. CanWest has all manuals available through our main Calgary location. CanWest is also currently working to upload PDF copies for easy online access for all of our customers.

Deposit or Pre Authorization

Rentals over a week will require a $1,000 deposit. Rentals under a week, will have a pre authorization hold for $1000. Call for more details.
