Shop Mechanic 

Essential responsibilities and job duties to include:

  • Checking engine oil in vehicles and equipment
  • Servicing fleet vehicles, equipment, and immediate work area
  • Maintenance of vehicles and equipment
  • Repairing diesel engines, and various others
  • Move tools, equipment and materials as required
  • Welding, electrical, and trailers

Qualifications and Requirements

  • NO TICKET REQUIRED 
  • Experience repairing or working with diesel engines is a must
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must have a class 5 license or greater
  • Must have your own tools
  • Welding and wiring break experience is preferred 
  • Experience working on excavation equipment is preferred

Shop Hand

Duties will include:

  • Checking engine oil in vehicles and equipment
  • Deliveries to site
  • Helping mechanics
  • Cleaning up around shop/yard
  • Basic maintenance of vehicles and equipment
  • Move tools, equipment, and materials as required
  • General handyman responsibilities

Requirements

  • NO TICKET REQUIRED
  • Be able to lift 50 lbs +
  • Be okay with bending, crouching and kneeling
  • Reliable team player
  • Must be okay working an early start time – 5:30am
  • Experience in a similar position is preferred
  • Willingness to learn a trade
  • Be able to take direction and work independently
